For his latest evolution of the world’s finest milled blade putters, Scotty Cameron builds upon the Tour-proven success of 2020's Special Select line and introduces his new Super Select models in 2023. Based on feedback from the game’s best players—and with constant design refinement at his San Diego County Putter Studio—Scotty has pushed his blade and mid-mallet designs even further with better performance, new milling capabilities, refined shapes, improved multi-material construction and cutting-edge weight distribution to deliver a Select line superior to any before it. The result—Super Select. Ten models comprise the new 2023 Super Select line, which will be introduced in two worldwide releases.

Refined for 2023 with a new precision sculpted, Tour-inspired I-beam plumbing neck, Scotty’s new dual-milled face technology and the line’s new-look machined cherry bombs, the Super Select Squareback 2 is a forgiving mid-mallet welcomed by players looking for the crisp, alignment-promoting lines of this perennial performer. With a solid milled putter face and an integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate that allows for higher MOI with more weight in the heel, toe and perimeter, the Super Select Squareback 2 has stainless steel sole weights for stability and includes the line’s new shaft band, headcover and textured Pistolini Plus grip.

NEW I-BEAM PLUMBING NECK

The new, precision sculpted neck designs give each model a racier, industrial look, but also allow for the removal and targeted repositioning of weight from the neck to the heel and toe of the putter head. This, coupled with a strategically placed notch on the models with plumbing necks—positioned for precise lie adjustments—and Scotty’s larger signature milled dots in the pocket, allowed additional weight to be meticulously redistributed for improved performance.

Combining the legendary softness of deep-milled putters with the feedback and roll of mid-milled offerings, Scotty’s new dual-milled face technology brings tour-inspired feel to a new level.

MULTI-MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION

The Super Select Squareback 2 extends Scotty Cameron’s proven construction methodology of incorporating complementary materials to achieve desired performance characteristics. Each ‘Plus’ model employs a precision milled 6061 aircraft grade aluminum sole plate expertly designed into the 303 stainless steel putter head, which allows for proper weight distribution, balance and feel.

ACCESSORIES

Each Super Select model has a specific grip, designed to not only provide each putter’s proper swing weight and balance, but also to offer the right in-hand feel. The Newport, Newport 2, and new Plus models come equipped with a textured Pistolini Plus grip, a smaller design with a thicker, more substantial feel through the lower part of the grip. This grip is paired with the blade-style putters, while a new, textured Pistolero Plus grip has been paired with the mid-mallets and Del Mar. The Squareback 2, Fastback 1.5, Del Mar, GOLO 6 and GOLO 6.5 each come with a Pistolero Plus grip that carries through the line’s color scheme and includes a modern dark grey on black look that gives this new line a more modern character. When comparing grips, the Pistolero Plus has a larger profile in the top hand location near the butt of the grip and is also slightly heavier and provides the appropriate complement to the mid-mallet putters’ head shapes.The Super Select Squareback 2 is a wider-bodied, angular mid-mallet with higher MOI, a solid milled putter face and an integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate with stainless steel sole weights, a refined I-beam plumbing neck and dual-milled face technology.
