TaylorMade Stealth 2 (What To Expect)

The TaylorMade Stealth line came to market and made every golfer curious about what a red carbon face could feel and look like in a driver. Over the last year, the Stealth has been a big hit for TaylorMade. Golfers noticed more distance, more accuracy, and a unique look that really stood out on the golf course. The TaylorMade Stealth had great features, and that left us wondering what the new TaylorMade Stealth 2 would bring to the table. Here is what you can expect from the new TaylorMade Stealth 2 line.

TaylorMade Stealth 2 Drivers

As we are used to seeing with TaylorMade, there are golf club options for all players. The new TaylorMade Stealth 2 Drivers come in three different models; regardless of your handicap and playing ability, there will be an option for you.

Asymmetric Inertia Generator

Speed is really the main goal of the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Drivers. If you want to get the ball to speed up on your shots and hit longer drives down the fairway, the Stealth 2 Drivers have an aerodynamic shape and a perfectly positioned center of gravity to increase total distance. Slight shifts and improvements here help players get even more distance with the new TaylorMade Stealth 2 line.

Option for All Players

There are three versions of the Stealth 2 Driver. The standard Stealth 2 driver is designed for both distance and forgiveness. The TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus has a combination of performances that will appeal to the lower handicap players.

With the Stealth 2 plus, you will notice a slightly open clubface making it easier for players to work the ball. Lastly, the Stealth 2 HD is the most forgiving of the Stealth 2 lineup, with a draw-biased setup.

Carbon Twist Face

All three drivers in the new Stealth 2 line feature the 60X Carbon Twist Face technology we saw in the original Stealth line. This shows us that the carbon technology must have had some impressive benefits in order for TaylorMade to continue it into the next line of clubs.

TaylorMade Stealth 2 Fairways and Hybrids

Another great thing about the new TaylorMade Stealth 2 line is the fact that there are fairways and hybrids to match. The fairways and hybrids in this series do not have a carbon face but instead a titanium one. However, there is carbon wrapping on the crown to improve overall weighting and consistency in the club head.

There are three versions of the Stealth 2 the standard, the plus, and the HD. The same can be said for the hybrids as well. You will notice the Advanced Inverted Cone technology is built in to improve overall ball speed and increase golfers' feel and confidence in their shots.

Final Thoughts

There was quite a lot of talk about whether or not TaylorMade would stick with carbon on their new TaylorMade Stealth 2 line, and they most certainly did. TaylorMade is on a continual mission to give golfers more speed in their shots, and the new TaylorMade Stealth 2 line is certainly no exception.
